Description
The AirPro wet blasting cabinet is designed for thorough cleaning of parts without aggressively affecting the surface. Water, glass bead and compressed air are combined into a controlled blasting stream with a light polishing effect. Old, weathered or contaminated parts are visibly refreshed, while details and the original surface structure are preserved. When using glass bead, this process delivers the best results for a “like new” finish.
Wet blasting, also known as vapor blasting, is suitable for applications where dry blasting is too aggressive. The process opens the material less than conventional blasting methods, helping to slow down new corrosion formation. The AirPro aquablaster can also be used to remove oil and grease residues, allowing parts to move on cleaner to the next processing step.
Thanks to the closed stainless steel wet blasting cabinet with a capacity of 190 liters, the blasting process remains clean, efficient and controlled. Because the blasting media is mixed with water, no dust is generated, which is beneficial for both the user and the environment. In addition to glass bead, sharper blasting media can also be used, where the polishing effect decreases and material removal may occur.
